GV II

Toll-house, now lodge house. Early C19, extended c.1850. Gault brick and Welsh slate roof with coped gables, ornamental cresting and elaborate central ridge stack. Single storey; 4-window range in all of 6/6 unhorned sashes the 2 inner forming part of a central canted section which contains the 4-panel door and fanlight and has a verandah which is supported on slim iron columns. On left end a bay with battlemented cresting and small extensions to rear. Newton Manor is not included.
