Description

56 and 58 Town Street is a house that was formerly the vicarage and has origins dating back to the 17th century. It is constructed of gault brick and features a steeply pitched plain tiled roof with an eaves cornice and a 17th-century red brick ridge stack. The building has a single range plan and a possible lobby entry, which is now sealed. It stands two storeys high and has three hung sash windows with heads that are flush with the eaves. The ground floor has three similar windows with segmental arches. The doorway is now located at the centre room.
