Description

This dovecot, dating from around 1800, is constructed of light red brick and features a plain tiled roof that is hipped in two stages for flight entry. It has a boarded door facing west, set within a round-headed brick arch. The dovecot has a square plan and is located approximately 55 metres southeast of Number 29, known as South End House. It is situated within the 'new' farmyard and buildings that replaced the original structures destroyed by discontented farm labourers in 1849.
