Description

Kingston Pastures Farmhouse is an early 18th-century house. It is constructed of red brick and has a tiled roof with gable end parapets supported by kneelers. The building features flush end stacks and a ridge stack. A lower kitchen wing at the rear creates an L-shaped plan. The house is two storeys high with an attic space between the floor levels, marked by a plat band. The attic incorporates three dormers: a segmental-headed dormer in the centre, flanked by two gabled dormers. The dormer at the east end retains original casement windows. The front facade has been remodelled with three twelve-pane hung sash windows on the first floor, and one blocked window opening. A plat band has been partially removed above the 19th-century ground floor window arches. A doorway is located opposite a stack. Inside, part of the original staircase remains, connecting the first floor to the attic.
