Description

The village shelter and water pump, located on the northeast side of High Street in West Wratting, dates from the late 19th century. It is constructed of cast iron and features a polygonal roof that rises to a finial shaped like a Prince of Wales coronet. The roof is supported by cast iron columns with decorative capitals and pierced spandrel bracing. The structure includes a late 19th century cast iron ring shafted column and spout with a fluted head, and the machinery is intact.
