Description

The Limes is a late 18th-century house located on Ermine Way in Arrington. The front of the house is red brick with burnt brick headers, while the rear wall is timber-framed and rendered. It has a hipped roof covered in plain tiles, with two internal brick stacks on the rear slope. The house is two storeys high with attics, and features two dormers with pediments, containing original leaded light casements.

The symmetrical facade has a range of three first-floor windows with twelve-pane hung sashes, originally under clear red brick flat arches. The outer casements have been enlarged. At ground floor, two modern canted bays flank a central doorway with a pediment supported by scroll brackets. The doorway has a flush panelled door.

A contemporary rear range provides space for offices and incorporates a hipped stair turret.
