Description

The Thatch is a cottage dating from the late 18th century that has been renovated. It features a timber frame, rendered on a brick plinth, and is topped with a long straw thatch roof that has a ridge stack made of red brick. The building has a lobby entry and a three-bay plan, consisting of one storey and an attic. There are two gable dormers and three wooden casement windows on either side of a modern porch. The staircase is located against the west side of the stack, and the ceiling beams are unchamfered.
