Description
Wraggs Farmhouse is a farmhouse with origins in the 17th century, featuring a brick casing added to the front and ends in the 18th century. It was extended at the north end in the 19th century. The building is timber framed, with plaster rendering on the rear and red brick casing or rebuilding on the front and end walls. It has a plain tiled roof with an original red brick axial ridge stack. The farmhouse has a single range plan with a lean-to on the north end and stands two storeys high. The front features five 19th-century casement windows on the first floor, with segmental arches above four ground floor windows and the doorway. The front wall facing the road is constructed of Hitch bricks. Inside, the ceiling beams are exposed and include stop-chamfered main beams.
