Description
This is a farmhouse at Lane Farm, dating from the early 19th century but with earlier origins. It is built of gault brick and features a plain tile roof with projecting end stacks. The building is in an L shape with a wing at the rear right and has two storeys. The façade includes a three-window range of 12/12 unhorned sashes. The central doorcase features a six-panel door, with the top panels being glazed. A red brick stack at the rear of the wing originates from an earlier house that once occupied the site. There is also a single-storey extension on the right side. Inside, there is a stick baluster staircase. The farmhouse forms a group with a barn or cowhouse located to the north-west.
