Description

The garden shelter at Tyrell's Hall is an early 19th-century structure located on Fowlmere Road in Shepreth. It is timber framed, covered in stucco, and features a slate roof with coved eaves. The shelter has a half-round plan and includes an open, three-bay Roman Doric arcade that supports a plain entablature. Inside, there is a slatted wood garden seat set in a shallow recess with a segmental arch, and the floor is paved. This garden shelter was likely constructed by the Woodham family after the enclosure in 1823 and is depicted on the Tithe Map from 1844.
