Description

The summer house at Tyrell's Hall is a Gothick structure built in the early 19th century. It features a timber frame and flint rubble construction, topped with a slate roof. The entrance has a two-centred moulded arch, and there is a round corner turret with loop openings. An embattlement that once adorned the structure was demolished in a storm. This garden building is likely linked to the remodelling of Tyrell's Hall and the landscaping of the grounds that took place in 1825.
