Description
The lodge at the entrance to Tyrell's Hall is an early 19th-century building. It is constructed of clay bat, plastered, and features a long straw thatched roof with a hipped design and a stack on the rear wall. The lodge is designed in the cottage orne style and consists of one storey with an attic, which includes two dormers. The front has two hung sash windows with pointed arches and arched top panes. There is a doorway located at the east end of the building. At the rear, there is a lower kitchen wing that is also thatched. The lodge is depicted on the Tithe Map from 1844.
