Description

The lych gate, located to the north-east of the parish church in Eltisley, commemorates those who died in the First World War. It features limestone walls with two inset plaques that list the names of the war dead. The structure has an oak frame with the inscription 'Death Swallowed Up in Victory' and a plain tile gable roof. This lych gate represents a 20th-century addition to the churchyard.
