Description

This building is a cottage located at 72 High Street, dating from the 18th century with some alterations made in the 19th century. It has a timber frame that is partly roughcast rendered and cased in 19th-century gault brick, along with a weatherboarded extension. The roof is thatched, featuring an end stack on the west side and a red brick ridge stack that has been partly rebuilt. The cottage is two storeys high, with a gable facing the street. The main entrance includes a boarded door and a casement window above, both of which are adorned with segmental brick arches.
