Description

A pair of cottages likely dating from around 1700, with alterations made in the 19th century. They are possibly timber-framed, although this is not visible inside, and appear to be cased or rebuilt using gault brick. The original steep-pitched roof was once thatched, but is now covered with corrugated iron. A narrow brick axial stack constructed of red and yellow brick rises from the ridge. The cottages are arranged in a single range. They have one storey and an attic, with two dormers. Four 19th-century sash windows with hung sashes are present, along with two doorways. According to local records, the underlying timber frame is still present.
