Description

This is a late 18th-century farmhouse with a 19th-century rear wing. The building incorporates blocks of medieval Barnack limestone and a carved stone fragment. It is a double-fronted building of two storeys. The roof is tiled with stacks at each end. The walls are of local soft red brick. There are two first-floor windows with three lights each, hung sashes with glazing bars, set within cambered arches. Flanking these is a central, round-headed window with a hung sash and glazing bars. A similar arrangement is found on the ground floor, where a six-panelled door sits within a wooden architrave featuring reeded pilasters and a dentil cornice topped by a triangular pediment.
