Description

This is a mid to late 18th century house with a 19th-century extension at the rear. It is located on the south side of Hail Weston High Street. The house is built of local soft red brick with a band separating the ground and first floors and a saw-tooth eaves cornice. The roof is tiled, with end stacks. The front elevation has two, three-light first-floor casement windows with glazing bars set within moulded wooden arches, and two bay windows with casements on the ground floor. A central blind window above the doorway has a flat, bracketed canopy and a plain architrave. The front door itself is panelled. The interior contains 19th-century details.
