Description

Chelsea Rest and Penny Farthing is a mid-18th century row of cottages, originally consisting of three but now reduced to two. The cottages are constructed of colour-washed brick and feature a half-hipped, thatched roof with two internal stacks. The buildings are one storey high with attics and include six dormers fitted with modern casements. There are two doorways, although one of them has been sealed.
