Description
Manor Farmhouse is a building that dates back to the 17th century for its rear range and the early 18th century for its main range. It is constructed of red brick and features a hipped roof covered with modern tiles. The farmhouse is two storeys high with attics and has a symmetrical front with five hung sash windows that include glazing bars in open boxing. The ground floor has four similar windows with elliptical arches, and there is a central doorway with a modern doorcase and hood.
Inside, the farmhouse boasts an early 18th-century staircase that has three flights, a closed string, turned balusters, and a moulded rail, along with square newel posts. The shutters are designed with raised and fielded panelling. The early 17th-century rear range has undergone modern restorations on the first floor and features a modern tile roof. It includes an internal stack with three diagonally set detached shafts and retains part of the original moulded brick band in the west wall.
