Description

Horseshoe Cottage is a late 17th or early 18th century cottage located on the north side of Church Street, Woodhurst. It is a three-unit plan building constructed of colour-washed brick, with a thatched roof featuring tumbled parapet gable ends, kneelers, a ridge stack, and an end stack. The cottage is single-storey with attics, and has three dormers. There are four casement windows at ground-floor level, and the entrance is positioned opposite the end stack. Two thatching hooks are affixed to the wall. The interior includes a large inglenook fireplace.
