Description
This is a 17th-century cottage of a two-unit plan, incorporating a lobby entry and a central chimney stack. The cottage is one storey high with an attic, constructed of painted limestone rubble and topped with a half-hipped plain tile roof. A single-storey extension to the east has a pantiled roof. There are two ground-floor casement windows. Inside, the cottage features two ingle-nook hearths, stop-chamfered ceiling beams with run-out stops, and a boxed staircase. The building materials are believed to be sourced from the nearby church.
