Description

This is a warehouse and malthouse, likely dating from the 18th century. It is constructed of red brick with a pantiled roof. A malthouse was incorporated into the warehouse later in the 18th century. A notable feature is the brick vaulted furnace chamber and a tapering brick cone rising above the roofline. Inside the malthouse is an iron drying grid.
