Description

These are two early 19th-century cottages with foundations dating back to the 18th century. They are two storeys high and constructed of local brick and gault brick, with a plain tile roof and two ridge stacks. A dentil brick eaves cornice runs along the top. The first floor has a five-window front, with two windows being blind and three featuring horizontal sliding sash windows with glazing bars, all set within segmental arches. The ground floor has two similar, large sash windows. There are two doorways, each with a doorcase featuring plain pilasters and an entablature with a projecting cornice. The doors themselves have four flush panels.
