Description

This is a mid-19th century building on West Street in Godmanchester. It is constructed of thin-coursed rubble with gault brick dressings, quoins, and a prominent band at the first-floor level. The building is two stories high and has two windows. The ground floor features paired arched windows with sash windows above, containing glazing bars. A central door has four flush panels and is set within a brick surround with a heavy modillion cornice and a blind lunette above. The roof is hipped and slate-covered, with a large central stack.
