Description

Nos 6 and 8 on Corpus Christi Lane in Godmanchester are a building with origins likely dating back to the early 16th century, with a late 18th-century addition. The structure has two storeys and an attic. The southern part is timber-framed and plastered, although the gable end has been refaced in brick, and it has a tiled roof. The northern part is constructed of gault brick and features a mansard tiled roof, along with a doorcase that has a reeded surround. Most of the windows, except for one casement, are modern. There are brick stacks from both the early and late periods of construction.
