Description

This stable range, attached to the east of Number 34, was built around 1830. It is constructed from dressed coursed limestone with freestone dressings and features a Welsh slated roof. The building has two storeys. The main entrance includes a chamfered four-centred archway with mitre-stopped chamfered jambs and boarded doors. To the left, there is a stable window with a segmental arched head and wooden slats, along with a boarded loft door and a first-floor casement window, which also has a segmental arched head. The historical context includes references to the Bedford Estate Maps from 1818 and 1838.
