Description

A row of three houses on London Road, Sibson-cum-Stibbington, dates to around 1830. The houses are constructed of dressed coursed limestone with ashlar and freestone dressings, and have Welsh slated roofs with two brick end stacks and two ridge stacks. No. 40 has a cellar.

The houses are two storeys high. They feature flat stone arches with flush keystones over all openings, and include two replacement doors alongside one four-flush-panelled door (at No. 40), all with rectangular fanlights. There are three sixteen-paned hung sash windows on the ground floor, recessed for shutters, and three similar windows on the first floor. Bedford Estate Maps from 1818 and 1838 are documented.
