Description

This sundial, located approximately 25 metres north of Elton Hall, is possibly from the 18th century. It features a baluster-shaped limestone pedestal set on a stepped base and serves as a focal point for the main drive and entrance to Elton Hall. The gardens surrounding it were redesigned by Milner in 1894, replacing the earlier 18th-century formal north garden and the informal south and west gardens.
