Description

This mid 18th century milestone is located about 10 yards west of the Duncombe Arms on Gamlingay Road in Waresley. It has a square shape with a domed top and is painted white, featuring incised lettering. The south face reads "WARESLEY," the east face indicates "ST. IVES 12 MILES," and the west face shows "POTTON 4."
