Description

Townsend Farmhouse is a farmhouse that features a timber frame and plastered exterior with thatched roofs. It is believed to have two possible building periods from the 16th and 17th centuries, with an earlier lower range located to the west. The farmhouse has a red brick ridge stack from the late 17th century and a 19th-century stack at the eastern end. There is one window on the first floor and one dormer window, along with four ground floor windows. A 19th-century door and doorcase are also present. The windows are boarded over, and the house is currently unoccupied.
