The structure is timber framed and has a casing of gault brick on the south wall. It features a plain tiled roof, which was originally thatched, and the ridge stack has been removed. The building has one storey and attics, with the entrance located opposite the stack. To the west, there is a two-storey brick addition from the 19th century, topped with a slate roof.
