Description

The Baptist Church, dated 1812 on a plaque, is a Nonconformist Chapel located on the south side of Somersham High Street. It features a gable end facing the road and is constructed of gault brick with a tiled roof that has a pedimented gable end. The building has two three-light casements on both the first and ground floors. The central entrance consists of a four-centred arch leading to panelled double doors topped with a fanlight. Inside, the church is galleried on three sides. The front of the church is adorned with original wrought iron railings and gates set between gault brick piers with stone coping.
