Description

This building comprises two properties, 142 and 143 High Street, dating to the 18th and early 19th centuries. The exterior is rendered. The two properties present as a two-storey, three-window structure. No. 142 has a small, early 19th-century shopfront with gothic glazing at ground floor level. No. 143 features a double-fronted shop with two canted bays, sash windows with glazing bars, and a central glazed door. The upper floors of No. 142 have sash windows. No. 142 has a tile roof of a fairly steep pitch, while No. 143 has a shallow slate roof with a hipped tiled rear wing.
