Description
This listing describes a barn located approximately 25 meters northeast of Rectory Farmhouse, along with an adjacent small barn and hovel. The buildings date from the 18th and 19th centuries. They are constructed from coursed limestone rubble, with some brick repairs and freestone quoins. The small barn features 19th-century brick and weatherboarding, while the roofs are made of corrugated asbestos and pantiles.
The main barn is situated to the east, with a small barn to the north that includes a hay loft, connected by a segmental planned hovel of four bays. The main barn has a halved boarded door positioned to the right of center, along with three small glazed windows and two pitching doors above, all featuring wooden lintels. The hovel is partly weatherboarded and supported by wooden posts. The small barn has two windows and a boarded door, also with wooden lintels.
