Description
Wild Goose Leys is a house dating from around 1700, with each gable end remodeled in the 19th century. It features a timber frame, plaster rendering, and a plain tiled roof, with end stacks made of late 19th-century brick following the remodeling. The original layout consists of two rooms on either side of a hall and stair bay, which has been preserved. The house is two storeys high with an attic. On the first floor, there are three horizontal sliding sash windows and two modern small pane casements flanking the doorway. At the rear, there is a modern kitchen wing. Inside, the house showcases ogee stop-chamfered main beams, exposed joists, and original partition walls. The first floor retains its original ceiling framing.
