Description

The well head, located approximately 50 metres south of the main building at Elton Hall, dates from the late 19th century. It features limestone steps and a wall topped with a wrought iron frame that supports a central pulley wheel. The components of the structure are bolted and welded together. The gardens surrounding the well head were redesigned in 1894 by Milner.
