Description

The Malthouse behind the Priory Club is a 18th-century structure that originally featured an L-shaped plan, including a flash kiln in the north wing. The central section of the east wing has been removed to make way for a Community Centre. The building has tiled roofs and is constructed of red brick, which includes a corbelled, dentil eaves cornice. Notably, there is a conical oven made of gault brick, with its interior arrangement still intact. The barns have small wooden casement windows located beneath the eaves. The site is also scheduled as an ancient monument.
