Description

Dated 1852, as indicated by a plaque, 56 and 58 Station Street are two houses. They are constructed of gault brick, with a hipped slate roof and central and end chimney stacks. The houses have four hung sash windows with flat-headed arches, featuring a keyblock above each first-floor window, and two at ground floor level. Double recessed round-headed arches, also with keyblocks, frame the two doorways, which have doors constructed of four panels and two flush panels, topped with round-headed fanlights. Bay windows are present on the right and left hand sides of the building.
