Description

Mill Cottage, dated 1807 as shown on a plaque, is a one-storey and attic cottage. It is constructed of red brick with a red pantile mansard roof. The roof has a range of four dormer windows containing hung sashes with glazing bars. The ground floor has three similar windows set within segmental arches. There are two doorways. The cottage was formerly the miller's cottage and stood alongside an octagonal tower mill and barn that were recently demolished. Information regarding the demolition was provided by the Curator of the Fenland Museum in Chatteris.
