Description

The Wisbech Youth Club is a clubhouse built around 1860 for Jonathan Peckover, designed by William Adams of Wisbech. The building features painted, rusticated stone on the ground floor and painted brick on the second floor, topped with a slate roof. It stands two storeys tall and has a projecting single-storey closed porch, which is a later addition. The structure includes a dentil enriched moulded stone cornice and moulded stone architraves around three first-floor windows. The main entrance is flanked by Doric columns, with a moulded architrave and a fanned key block, leading to a modern panelled door. There are also two side entrances with recessed doors and fanlights set in round-headed arches.
