Description

This is a house dating from the late 18th or early 19th century, with later alterations. It is constructed of local brown brick with a slate roof, featuring an end stack to the east and hung tiles to the attic. The house has two storeys with an attic and a basement. The front elevation has two attic windows, two recessed first-floor windows with hung sash glazing in cambered arches of gauged red brick, and a round-headed doorway with stuccoed jambs and a keyblock, leading to a four-panelled door surmounted by a round-headed fanlight. A three-light hung sash window is located to the east, also within a cambered gauged brick arch. Photographs and prints from the 18th and 19th centuries are held at the Wisbech & F. Museum.
