Description

The Red Lion is a late 18th century inn located in Wisbech. It is constructed of local brown brick with a stuccoed facade and features a red pantile roof with a large stack at the rear. The building is two storeys high and has a three-unit plan. On the first floor, there are three box-framed, twelve-paned hung sash windows, while the ground floor has three hung sash windows that were replaced in the 19th century. The entrance includes two four-flush-panelled doors with plain architraved doorcases, and there is a side passage door on the east side. The building also has a plinth.
