Description

This chest tomb, located about 20 yards north of the north aisle at St Wendreda Church, dates from the early 19th century and is made of limestone. It has a rectangular shape with a shaped top and base. The corners feature engaged urn balusters, and the sides are panelled with leaded inscriptions. The north side commemorates Simon Goodman of Elm, who died in 1825, while the south side is dedicated to his wife Ann, who died in 1846.
