Description

Church House is a house dating from the mid to late 18th century, with alterations made in the mid-20th century. It is constructed of gault brick in English bond, and the front wall has been painted. The roof is steeply pitched and currently covered with cement tiles. There are repaired tumbled end parapets and end stacks. The building has two storeys and attics, featuring three rebuilt dormers and segmental arches above three flush frame, sixteen-pane hung sash windows. It is noted that the ground storey facade facing Church Street was originally without windows. The main doorway is located at the rear, and the current ground storey fenestration dates from around 1930.
