Description

Valence House is a house, originally a farmhouse, likely dating from the 17th century. It is timber-framed and plastered, with a red pantile roof and a ridge stack, alongside a more modern stack on the right. The house has a three-unit plan and is one storey high with an attic. It features three gabled dormers with casement windows. The front has a boarded door in a lobby entry position on the left, two sixteen-paned hung sash windows, and one casement window. Inside, the timber frame is exposed, and there is an ingle-nook hearth.
