Description

The Lawns is a farmhouse built in the early 18th century, with a 19th-century addition to the main south facade. It features red brick and 19th-century gault brick, topped with a slate roof. The building is two storeys high and has a double pile layout, with the main entrance located on the west side. There are end stacks and four garden doors that include margin glazing bars. The verandah is supported by cast iron pilasters, which are partly covered by brick, and has a tented canopy. On the first floor, there are four recessed hung sash windows with twelve panes each. The main entrance consists of double doors with sidelights, set beneath an open porch with cast iron pilasters and a tented roof.
