Description
Bassingbourn Manor Farmhouse is an early 19th-century farmhouse constructed of gault brick, featuring pantile roofs with shaped gables and end stacks. The building stands two storeys high, with attics and basements. The east facade is symmetrical, consisting of three bays. On the first floor, there are three twelve-paned hung sash windows set in cambered gauged brick arches, while the ground floor has two similar sixteen-paned windows. The entrance boasts a moulded wooden doorcase with panelled reveals, leading to a six-panelled door with two glazed panels. A wooden trellis porch with a tented canopy enhances the entrance. Inside, the farmhouse retains original fittings and staircases.
