Description
The Old Vicarage is a house that was formerly the vicarage, built around 1830. It is constructed of gault brick and features a hipped, low-pitched slate roof with end stacks. The building has three storeys and a basement, with a symmetrical facade consisting of three bays. On the second floor, there are three nine-paned hung sash windows set in cambered gauged brick arches, while the first floor has three twelve-paned hung sash windows in similar arches. To the left of the entrance is a smaller twelve-pane hung sash window, balanced by a garden casement window on the right. The entrance is accessed by three stone steps and features a door with four moulded panels and a patterned rectangular fanlight, all within a doorcase that has a moulded cornice and is flanked by plain plaster pilasters. The garden is enclosed by shaped flint and gault brick walls. Inside, the property retains original details and a staircase.
