It features a timber frame with plaster and a thatched roof, which has three rebuilt red brick chimneys. The building is one storey high with an attic and has a cross wing on the left side. There is a modern thatched closed porch at the entrance. On the upper level, there is one attic casement window to the left and two gabled dormer casement windows. The ground floor has five casement windows and a modern panelled door. Inside, the cottage has exposed timber frame walls with light scantling and straight braces. There are also two inglenook hearths that include original baking ovens.
