Description
Nos 49 and 51 on Woodditton Road are a row of four estate cottages built in 1864, as indicated by the date on round recessed gable plaques. The cottages are constructed from red brick, featuring gault brick bands and simulated rustic quoins, door, and window jambs. They have plain tile roofs and two square stacks, each with six attached shafts. The buildings are one storey with attics and have a symmetrical facade with gabled wings and two gabled dormer windows on the facade. There are symmetrical brick arches above four first-floor attic casement windows that have cast iron lattice glazing bars. The ground floor includes two similar three-light casement windows and two two-light casement windows, along with one boarded door and one half-glazed door. Additionally, there are two lean-to side entrances for the end cottages.
